We have prayed for a long time to purchase a piece of land in Phnom Penh for the Ministry Center - office, university student hostel, Light and Life Bible Training Center, Church, guest house etc. Now there is a land not far from the airport and university, situated in New Phnom Penh. There is a fish pond and some fruit trees on this land already, and these can be used as an income for the Mission. 

Area: 1.8 hectare ( 1 hectare = 10,000 sq. meters; or 2.471 acres) = 18,000 sq. meters
Cost: US$8 per 1 sq. meter = US$144,000.00
Payment Term: by 3 bi-monthly installments in 6 months -- US$44,000; US$50,000; US$50,000.

We come to this agreement after some negotiations. This is a very reasonable and low price. The owner asked for US$12 per sq. meter at the beginning. The owner is a friend of the owner of our Mission House in Cambodia. And he is in need of money. Some Chinese people also want to buy this land but the owner wants to give the priority to the church because he knows that we are a charitable organization.

We have US$44,000 in hand right now. The land in Phnom Penh has gone up three times in these few years.
