Rev Polly Ho has been the Executive Director of the Asia Pacific Free Methodist Missions Association (APFMMA) since its formation in August 1994, and was re-appointed for another term of 5 years in August 2005.
Rev Polly Ho is a member of Hong Kong Free Methodist Church and has pastored three churches in the Hong Kong Free Methodist Conference since 1978. She also has had three years of cross cultural missions experience in the hills of Northern Thailand with a Hong Kong para-church mission agency. After returning from Thailand to Hong Kong, Polly served as Executive Secretary for the same mission agency for three years, and at the same time served as the Senior Pastor of Kwai Chung Free Methodist Church. In 1991, she was assigned as the Missions Director of the Hong Kong Free Methodist Conference, as well as the senior pastor of Yan On Free Methodist Church, where she served for 12 years.
Rev. Polly Ho now concentrates on missions work, serving one-third time with APFMMA and two-thirds time as the Missions Director of the Hong Kong Conference. In recent years, she has visited the Free Methodist churches in the Asia Pacific, South East Asia and North America doing coordination, planning, recruiting, organization, promotion, investigation and reporting on the work of APFMMA. However, she devotes most of her time to expanding and promoting the ministries in Cambodia, which is the first mission field of APFMMA, and now invests her time in opening new mission fields in South East Asia. She is keen about missions education, missionary care and recruiting new missionaries. |
