Dear
brothers and sisters in the Lord,
During
the interim period before leaving for
Cambodia
, my heart
is in a whirl with many thoughts swirling around.
I always seek God's continuous guidance with every step I tread.
I
thank the Lord that the chemotherapy treatment of my sister is going fine. There
are two more treatments to complete the course.
In addition, she is also recovering from the bone fracture of her leg.
May God's healing and comfort continue to be with her and her family.
She is more open to God now. May
the Spirit move her heart to have strong faith in Jesus.
Over
the months, I have been sharing my mission with some Free Methodist Churchesm
and the response of the brothers and sisters is very encouraging to me; some
elderly members especially are keen to support me in prayers and with money.
May God reward their love and offerings.
I
am also experiencing warm support from the Conference staff and helpers for my
coming Commissioning Service. Some
are busy in preparing the program, some in design and printing, some in choir
practice. I can see the beauty of a 'church' and feel the joy of teamwork where various gifts are revealing
God's ample grace.
I
thank the Lord that I have had the opportunity to serve at the Glad Blessings
FMC since September. I have been
able to learn more about church ministries and to have fellowship with the
brothers and sisters. The pastors,
Mr. Tam and Ms Yiu, definitely help me a lot with encouragement.
Moreover, I can learn from the faithful service of Ms. Leung, the clerk
of the church, that the way to serve is with a humble heart.
I
would be grateful for your prayers as follows
-
God's
continuous guidance in the my work, heart and spirit
-
My
sister's faith and recovery from chemotherapy and bone fracture of the leg
-
The
church members to have the vision to support the ministry
-
The
preparation of the Commissioning Service on December 14
-
The
remaining period (until December) of practicum at the Glad Blessings FMC
