Thank God for giving me the opportunity to substitute for Rev. Grace Margin for three weeks in teaching English lessons. This is at the Takhmau church plant which just started earlier this year. I only have to walk ten minutes from my house, and it lets me regularly interact with some young people. Please pray that I will be able to teach them according to their abilities.

Thank the Lord that I and the Childcare staff can get training together through a course, Celebrating Children, which is done for the local situation and very appropriate. In November I missed the class because of travel to Vietnam, but my fellow workers all say that it was excellent and very useful. It helped them to recognize the possible violence and abuse that children may encounter in this society (either at school or at home). On their own initiative, some of the staff have already given a seminar at House of Love to teach the girls how to protect themselves. I greatly appreciate their positive attitude and initiative.
