Personal information

  • 11 in the family: Mother , three older sisters, four younger sisters and two younger brothers. Father and maternal grandmother passed away in 1979
  • 19 years of spiritual growth: The Eternal Blessings (Kwun Tong) FMC, HK is my spiritual home and is one of the primary places where God has been molding me.
  • 18 years of nursing: I started nursing school in 1979, and until leaving the nursing profession in 1997 to attend seminary, I worked 18 straight years. During this time I was a licensed nurse, registered nurse, obstetrical assistant, intensive care nurse, plus received my nursing degree.
  • 9 years seeking my missions calling: I started attending church in 1983 and first encountered missions in 1992, and really felt God's moving to take the Gospel news to all people everywhere. This is God's will for His church. In 1994 at the Asia Pacific Free Methodist Missions Association missions congress in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, I responded to God and was willing to do my all to walk step by step on the road to missions.
  • 5 years of full time preparation: Three years at the China Graduate School of Theology studying for the Master of Divinity degree (1997-2000), 14 months in Cambodia as a missionary intern (2000-2001), one year pastoring in the Sai Ying Pun FMC, HK (2001-2002)

Ministry responsibilities

Take care of the House of Joy Childcare Center and help the Gor Sachaliah East Church.

Prayer requests:

  • Maintain a beautiful, intimate relationship with God, filled with the Holy Spirit.
  • May the Lord grant spiritual strength, wisdom and a compassionate heart to respond to people's needs.
  • May the Lord give a gift for learning the Cambodian language.
  • May the Lord give courage and wisdom for learning to drive the car and motorcycle.
  • To have good relationships and cooperation with the other missionaries and local church leaders and Christians.
  • My mother in Hong Kong will be at peace and come to know the Lord soon.
