Rev. Chris Wilkins is American and served in Japan for 11 years. His wife Rev. Yuko is Japanese, and had been a pastor for 5 years in Japan before their marriage in April 2002. Chris and Yuko arrived in Cambodia on 23 Oct, 2002 to begin their missionary service there. In January 2005 they had a son named Caleb. They are sent by the Free Methodist World Mission of North America to serve with the missionary team in Cambodia with the Asia Pacific Free Methodist Missions Association.
The Wilkins are currently living in Kampong Cham, about 3 hour drive from the capital Phnom Penh. They are planting a church in Kampong Cham. Yuko works with the women to produce items for Reaksmei Products and teaches them the Bible at the same time. Chris preaches, teaches TEE (Theological Education by Extension), and has arranged Khmer classes for local children.
