Dear Friends and Family,

I have learned how to send photos so I will send you a few each month. It was an interesting month and a half since our last letter. One of our churches was vandalized, and we had two robberies, one at our new mission center and, the other, my valise containing our airplane tickets for Japan . We think the valise was taken while I went to give a tract to a police officer. A week later, in an interesting underground operation, one of our church members asked Yuko for some flowers. We thought he meant a clipping from our bougainvillea, but he proceeded to dig up one of our small bushes, leaving a gap in our landlord's hedge--another example of what happens when cultures collide. Below is a series of eight apartments that had a gas explosion just a few hundred yards from our house. The night before, less than a hundred yards from these shops, a man was killed while attempting to steal gold from a jeweler.

This is the treadle sewing machine we bought at the village of Suong . They ladies are working on a Bible cover project that Yuko taught them. I sold the fifteen they made in the first two days of the APFMMA Ten Year Anniversary held in Japan . We managed to sell over $900.00 worth of merchandise for the workers from various churches, and Cambodian pastors fund. You can check it out at www.heavenlytreasures.org

This is our new worship hall. It is on the first floor of our home. It doubles during the week as a garage, and on Fridays and Saturdays as a classroom. We have been blessed with thirty children for children's church, and thirty adults for worship. We now have committees for worship, finance, and development. We will have our first communion service in June.

Next month we will show you pictures of the Easter baptism, Yuko's Japanese class (she was also teaching an English class), and the King--King George! In addition to praying for the above items, there is one other. We are adding a new member to the mission team here in Cambodia toward the end of the year. Yuko is in her ninth week of pregnancy. God is good. Please keep her and Baby Wilkins in your prayers. We appreciate you.

Love,
The Wilkins Family
